Managing Plant Shift Models

Plant shift models are used to couple together listings with specific shifts. Shifts are used to enforce Minimum and Maximum working hours for employees to ensure they stay in the correct benefits package as well.

Adding A Shift

To add a shift navigate to the home screen and click the manage button, then click on plants and select your plant. Click on the shifts button to navigate to the shifts management section.

Click the add shift button, a form will open.

Field Name Use Notes
SAP Code allows for smooth integration between the application and SAP for automatic exports for payroll (currently in development) Make sure this matches the SAP value
SAP Description gives a more friendly display for Employees instead of showing the code Use the description for the shift in SAP
Start Time Calculations of hours for employees as well as reporting times In plant’s timezone
End Time Calculations of hours for employees as well as reporting times In plant’s timezone
Has Break Indicates whether the shift has a break or not  

After you have input the information for the new shift, click save.

Editing A Shift

To edit an existing shift, simply click the “Edit” button for the shift and adjust the fields in the menu as needed. Click save after you have completed your adjustments. Edit Shift Button

Deleting A Shift

To delete a shift, click the “Remove” button, then confirm you wish to delete the shift.
